Sealed Bids are requested for the rehabilitation of Highways 17 & 20. The project is divided into two bid schedules: BID SCHEDULE A - County Road 20 includes removal of approximately 3,100 SY of variable thickness asphalt concrete pavement, 460 CY of unclassified excavation and roadway grade preparation, furnishing and installing about 2,300 tons of base course with woven separator fabric underlayment, 900 tons of asphalt concrete composite pavement, 1,850 tons of Class B riprap with Type B drainage fabric underlayment, and all required traffic control, erosion control, pavement markings, ancillary bid items, and incidentals noted in the construction documents. BID SCHEDULE B - County Road 17 includes about 6 miles of surface preparation on the reclaimed roadway, 1,000 CY of unclassified excavation, digouts and base course backfill, furnishing and installing 4,600 tons of base course for digout backfill, shouldering, and intersection/approach transitions, 26,150 tons of asphalt concrete composite pavement, installing about 128 LF of owner-furnished 60" HDPE culvert pipe with culvert undercut and controlled density fill, and all required traffic control, erosion control, pavement markings, ancillary bid items, and incidentals noted in the construction documents.
