Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Gueydan, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Klondike Fire Substation Electrical Plans at 430 Veterans Memorial Drive, Gueydan, Louisiana. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form of a cashier’s check or bid bond made payable to the Cameron Parish Police Jury. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond as outlined in the bid documents. Bids will only be accepted from contractors licensed in Louisiana under the classification of Electrical. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the Engineer in the bidding documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause and to waive any informality. The contract award is contingent upon the availability of state, federal, or other funding sources. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt, except under specified provisions. All provisions and requirements cited must be met and will not be waived.
