The project consists of rebuilding portions of the existing 34kV-12.5kV distribution substation. The necessary labor, supervision, material, equipment, and delivery for Phase 1 construction activities are required to be furnished by the bidder. All work must target delivery by July 15, 2026. The owner reserves the right to amend the specifications and modify the delivery schedule as necessary. Bidders must conform to the stated requirements, may be required to provide a performance bond for 100% of the bid price, and must furnish certificates of insurance. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive minor irregularities in bidding and bid specifications. Technical and bid questions must be submitted in writing to the Engineer. Base Bid: - Phase 1 Construction activities to rebuild portions of an existing 34kV-12.5Y distribution substation, including foundation installation, grounding grid installation, conduit installation, spill containment installation, & fence installation. This project also includes moving transformer from current location to a newly specified concrete foundation. Bid Options: - None for this project. Intended use of this construction phase is to rebuild portions of a 34kV-12.5Y distribution substation and prepare delivery of 2 new transformers. (Only 1 included in All construction activities shall be furnished completely with material, equipment, fabrication, and accessories. Site Grading/Preparation shall be excluded from these activities as it has been performed under another contract.
