The Contractor shall perform everything required to be performed and shall provide and furnish all of the labor, materials, necessary tools, expendable equipment, and all utility and transportation services required to perform and complete in a workmanlike manner all the work required for the all in accordance with the Plans and Specifications reviewed and/or prepared by Matthew M. Jones, Engineer and in these Contract Documents referred to as the Engineer which Plans and Specifications are made a part of this Contract, and in compliance with the Contractor's Proposal and the other Contract Documents herein mentioned which are a part of this Contract; and the Contractor shall do everything required by the Contract and the other Documents constituting a part hereof. Sealed bids are invited for Garden Road Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvements. Bid documents, specifications, and drawings are available for inspection online and can be purchased to become a Registered Bidder. Bids must be submitted on the provided Proposal form and be accompanied by a bid bond for the full bid amount from an authorized surety or a certified/cashier's check for 10% of the bid (minimum $100). The bond or check serves as liquidated damages if the successful bidder does not enter into the contract within fourteen days of award notification. Upon contract award, a 100% Surety Bond satisfactory to the Village must be furnished.
