Description

Site work and new construction of a power facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the construction of a power facility.

The work includes the provision of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Contractor services for the development of a new approximately 750 MW dispatchable capacity facility, consisting of a combustion turbine generating station and associated balance of plant systems, to be constructed adjacent to the existing Manitoba Hydro Generating Station in Brandon, Manitoba. Manitoba Hydro intends to pre-qualify up to three Respondents to participate in a subsequent Request for Proposal, either individually or as part of a joint venture.
