Description

Renovation of a detention facility in Brandon, Manitoba. Design plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

Boiler room upgrades at Brandon Correctional Centre. The required work includes hydronic heating boiler replacements and an integrated systems testing of fire protection and life safety systems. Proposals are sought from pre-qualified suppliers with an effective Master Service Agreement and Participating Addendum for architectural and engineering services. The project requires a multi-disciplinary team led by an architect and a mechanical engineer, along with design professionals registered in Manitoba in the architectural, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines. An environmental consultant is also required. TIMELINE: An RFP for engineering services has been awarded. Design is ongoing. Updates will be made late 2026.
