Demolition and renovation of a mixed-use development in St Catharines, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

The Project consists of the renovation and conversion of existing interior space within the Mackenzie Chown Complex at Brock University, located at 1812 Sir Isaac Brock Way, St. Catharines, Ontario. The scope of work generally includes demolition, hazardous materials abatement coordination, architectural renovations, mechanical and electrical modifications, data and power infrastructure upgrades, ceiling and flooring replacement, millwork, door and hardware replacement, and all associated construction required to create new integrated engineering, graduate, programming, and student collaboration laboratory spaces. The work includes, but is not limited to: conversion of existing GIS and Map Library areas into new Engineering and Graduate laboratory spaces; creation of computer programming and engineering laboratory environments; HVAC modifications and coordination associated with revised layouts and new plumbing requirements; new electrical power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, conduit and data rough-ins; architectural demolition and reconstruction; new interior finishes and millwork; hazardous materials abatement and associated testing; coordination within an occupied post-secondary institutional environment. The University intends to retain one (1) General Contractor under a CCDC 2 – 2020 Stipulated Price Contract amended by Brock University Supplementary Conditions.
