Site work and paving for a road / highway in Lake Tomahawk, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Major quantities for the Work include mobilization, traffic control, pulverization of existing pavement and base course, common excavation, installation of crushed aggregate base course, HMA pavement, solid line paint (4 to 18 inch), construction staking, and street lighting and flashing beacons on Kingswan Road. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid. This work shall be subject to Davis Bacon wage rates and labor standards in accordance with the Federal Government. Under 25 U.S.C. § 5307(b), Indian organizations and Indian-owned economic enterprises are entitled to a preference, to the greatest extent feasible, in the award of this contract. The Ho-Chunk Transportation Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the contract in the best interests of the Ho-Chunk Nation.
