The scope of work includes but is not limited to hydro excavation at the water service b-box of approximately 350 properties located throughout the City, and all other appurtenant work and materials necessary to complete the project as set forth in the bid documents. Bidders are required to electronically submit bids and provide an original bid bond in the amount of 5% of the original bid amount. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment bond equal to 100% of the total contract price. All successful bidders and subcontractors must comply with labor standards, pay prevailing wage, provide certified payrolls, and adhere to local responsible bidder ordinances and residency requirements. If requested, bidders must submit references for projects of similar size and scope. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive technicalities and any informality in any bid. Each bidder must satisfy the City as to their ability, financially or otherwise, to carry out the work.
