Reference Number 0000431950 Bid Intent Optional This solicitation is a re-bid for the removal and installation of an HVAC system for Sandburg's 209 E Main Street building in downtown Galesburg. This re-bid includes minor changes to the project scope in an effort to reduce the total project cost. Changes include the removal of BAS front-end programming requirements, reduction of VAVs, access options to remove / install HVAC equipment on the 1st floor and the acceptance of other HVAC system options. This HVAC system will condition the 1st floor (to be occupied by the new 518 Collective) and basement (built out, but no plans to occupy - existing ductwork to remain). The 2nd floor will be conditioned by a separate 26-ton Aon unit on the rooftop and is not part of this scope of work. Please read the "00. Bid Option 2: Replace the existing split DX HVAC system with an updated split DX system in the same location. Rooftop condensing unit should be sized to avoid additional structural steel. Bid Option 3: Recommend a separate HVAC solution that meets our minimum performance requirements whilst keeping us within our target budget cap of $550K (total project cost).
