Sealed bids will be received for furnishing all necessary materials, equipment, superintendence, and labor for construction of the following improvement: Rose Hill Mausoleum Re-roof Project. Forms of proposal, contracts, bonds, insurance, plans, and specifications may be obtained electronically at no charge from the offices of Wharry Engineering. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Rose Hill Mausoleum. Questions concerning this project shall be directed to Billy Shedd of Wharry Engineering. Due to project design and specifications, and historical significance of the facility, this pre-bid is mandatory. All insurance and bonding provisions requested by the City of Tyler and provided with contract documents are required to execute the contract for this project. The successful bidder must submit a Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295) at the time the signed contract is submitted to the City. 1. Deliver and cover all materials properly at the jobsite. 2. Displace all ballast but do not remove entirely. 3. Raise the height of all curbs as necessary to add height for the required warranty. 4. Remove the existing roof system down to the existing concrete deck. 5. Install the new 60 mil PVC roof system to meet all state and local guidelines (R25). 6. Repair and replacement of existing slate 300sf. 7. Install the new sheathing to protect the new 60 mil PVC roof system before reapplying the ballast. 8. Move gas lines, conduits and pipe supports as required in order to accomplish the re-roofing process.. 9. Repair all damaged slate tile and flashings on the sloped roof areas. 10. Co-ordinate and direct work for other trades. 11. Provide warranties as specified. 12. Remove wet areas down to existing deck and replace with similar materials to meeting existing roof height.
