Renovation of a fire / police facility in Litchfield, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Town of Litchfield is accepting bids for the upgrade of the Fire Alarm System for the Bantam Fire House in Bantam, Connecticut. All bids must be submitted on forms and in accordance with specifications supplied by the Town of Litchfield. Bids will be received at the Office of the First Selectman, 74 West Street, Litchfield, and will be opened at a specified date and time and read publicly. The bid documents can be downloaded from the Town of Litchfield website. There is a mandatory bid walk at the Bantam Fire House. This is a prevailing wage job if the contract exceeds a specified threshold. The Town of Litchfield reserves the right to waive technical defects in the bids, to reject any bid that does not conform to the terms and conditions described in the bid documents, to accept or reject any part of any bid, and to reject all bids and invite bids again. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the bid opening. Question Deadline 06/19/2026 Any questions received after that date will not be answered.
