Sealed bids are requested for the Main Office Roof Replacement Project. Each bid must use the provided forms and be accompanied by a bank or certified check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid as a guarantee of contract entry upon award. Prevailing wage rates shall be as determined by the New York State Department of Labor PRC#: 2026015596. Bid specifications may be reviewed at the Elmira Water Board office or website. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the project name on the outside. No bid may be withdrawn for 45 days after the bid opening. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each at least equal to the total bid, with a surety authorized to do business in New York State. Do not include New York State sales and compensating use taxes on materials, equipment, and supplies to be incorporated into the project. Bidders must certify that bids have been prepared without collusion. The Elmira Water Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids offered. - Remove and dispose of existing EPDM roofing and cover board down to insulation - Remove flashings, terminations, perimeter metal and gutters - Remove any and replace any wet substrate materials - Wood blocking at perimeter of roof as required - One layer of .5" high density cover board over existing insulation - fully adhered 60 mil membrane roofing - Properly flash all walls and roof penetrations - Install new custom fabricated 24 gauge metal fascia at perimeter of roof - Reinstall gutters *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
