Sealed bids are requested for the Pump Station Roof Replacement Project. Each bid must use the provided forms and include a bank or certified check or a bid bond for 5% of the total bid as a guarantee to enter into the contract if awarded. Prevailing wage rates by the New York State Department of Labor apply. Bid specifications are available for review at the Elmira Water Board office or on their website. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the project name labeled on the outside. No bid may be withdrawn within 45 days after opening. The winning bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each for at least the total bid amount, with a surety authorized in New York State. Sales and compensating use taxes for materials, equipment, and supplies incorporated into the project are not to be included. Bidders must certify under penalty of perjury that bids are prepared without collusion. The Elmira Water Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
