Sealed bids are requested for the construction of reinforced concrete box culverts and associated grading in Hall County, Nebraska, and other related work. Prospective bidders must bid on all three projects: Project No. C40(376) involving the construction of a triple 12' x 7' x 51' concrete box culvert on a 35° skew at Sta. 74+20; Project No. C40(389) involving a triple 12' x 8' x 42' concrete box culvert at Sta. 25+00; and Project No. C40(561) involving a twin 14' x 6' x 42' concrete box culvert on a 10° skew at Sta. 42+65. The work includes all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment for these constructions. Proposals must be signed and submitted on the forms provided with the bid documents, with only Division 5 being submitted. Each bidder must provide a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 5 percent of their proposal, payable to the County Treasurer of Hall County, Nebraska. The successful bidder must provide a surety bond equal to the full contract amount within ten days of award. Bidders must include estimated times of commencement and completion for the projects in their proposals. The contractor is allowed 60 calendar days for completion at each site, with all projects to be completed by the specified required date. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities. The contract will be awarded according to applicable County and State competitive bidding laws and at the discretion of the Hall County Board of Commissioners based on the lowest or best bid.
