Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of the installation of a new sanitary sewer force main, which is a relocation of an existing sewer force main within the residential area located on the east side of Joe T. Robinson High School. Work includes the rehabilitation of associated manholes and the installation of all required fittings and valves. The scope of work generally includes approximately 2,422 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE DR11 force main installed by open-cut construction, and 339 linear feet of a 14-inch steel encased jack & bore to house the 8-inch force main where it crosses Bronte Court. Major components include mobilization, open-cut pipeline installation, manhole rehabilitation, jack & bore with steel pipe encasement, valve installation, site restoration, and all incidental and ancillary work necessary to complete the project. Bidders must furnish all labor and materials and perform all required work. Bids must be accompanied by a cashier’s check or certified check upon a national or state bank, or a Bid Bond for at least five percent of the total maximum Bid Price as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute Performance and Payment Bonds within fifteen days after Notice of Award. Bidders must be licensed in compliance with Arkansas Contractor’s Licensing Law. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in bids received. All bids are subject to the conditions of Section 002113 Information for Bidders.
