Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work involves the removal, disposal, and replacement of two 42-inch sluice gates on an existing drainage structure. This includes furnishing and installing new sluice gates, stems, actuators, and frame guides. The project is located on the opposite side of Bankhead Drive from East Roosevelt Road in Little Rock, Arkansas. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Bidders must use the prescribed forms and submit a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5 percent of the bid. The proposal and contract work must comply with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, choose the most qualified bidder, and postpone award of the contract for up to 90 days from the bid opening date. Bidders are responsible for downloading all bid documents and addenda from the specified online plan room and must verify receipt of addenda in their proposal. Bids may be rejected for material omissions, irregularities, unbalanced unit prices, or nonconformance with requirements. Consideration is encouraged for small, minority, and women business enterprises.
