The Town of Port Barre advertises for offers to purchase the Glass Systems building located at 17803 Highway 190, Port Barre, Louisiana 70577, which is zoned industrial. The property includes a certain lot or parcel of ground, together with all buildings, appurtenances, and improvements whether currently in existence or to be placed thereon. The lot is situated in Section Four (4), Township Six South (T-6-S), Range Four East (R-4-E), in the Town of Port Barre, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, containing 0.938 acres, measuring 152.65 feet on the North and South sides, and 267.73 feet on the East side. It is bounded by Palm Street (North), U.S. Highway 190 (South), Tract Six of Plat of Survey (East), and First National Bank of Port Barre (West). The lot is more particularly described as Tract Five of a Plat of Survey executed by Edmond E. Dupre, Jr., Land Surveyor, on January 21, 1983, and revised on February 9, 1983, attached to the Act recorded in Conveyance Book Z-24 page 708 of the records of St. Landry Parish. This is the same property acquired by the Town of Port Barre by Sheriff's Deed from Prudhomme Filtration Systems (Malcolm Prudhomme) filed May 10, 1988, and recorded under Original Act No. 723943 B in Conveyance Book L-30 page 239 of the records of St. Landry Parish.
