We extend this proposal to cover the furnishing of labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide a three-year contract to perform glass repairs and maintenance to various Jefferson Parish-owned facilities, parish-wide. Bidders must inspect the site and perform their measurements to determine the proper quantity of labor, materials, and equipment required to complete this project. Only a properly licensed technician may replace or repair the glass, and the use of a helper will be allowed only upon approval from a Jefferson Parish representative. All work shall be provided on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee of the amount of work given throughout the contract. There is no minimum call-out time, work time, or service time in terms of hours charged under this contract. Time charged is from when personnel arrive on-site until they depart. Hourly pricing for Estimator, Technician, and Helper shall include labor for estimating, labor for repair work, incidental equipment, and tools needed to perform troubleshooting and repairs. A Louisiana State Contractor’s License is required, and the license number must be entered in the appropriate field when bidding electronically. Failure to comply will cause the bid to be rejected.
