Site work for a water / sewer project in Gretna, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves controls upgrades to the existing Caterpillar switchgear, including hardware and software, replacement HMI touchscreens, replacys, replacement DC batteries, full preventive maintenance service, arc flash analysis and coordination study, upgrading the existing Caterpillar 750 kW EMCP to version 4.2, and all other incidental work related to these tasks. Bids must be in accordance with the contract documents. Work is classified as Electrical and/or Category IV, Municipal and Public Works Construction, and only contractors with the appropriate classification may submit bids. Bids must be received on a unit price basis. Bid security of 5 percent of the total bid is required. The successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference to discuss the project. No bid may be withdrawn within 45 days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject all bids and those deemed nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional. Question Deadline 05/22/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five calendar days prior to the date for opening Bids will not be answered.
