Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Gretna, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for Temporary Modular Buildings at George Cox Elementary School, Project No. 2025-38 A. The project is classified as General Building Construction. Bids must be submitted to the Facilities Department for the Jefferson Parish School Board. No bids may be withdrawn for at least thirty days after the opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive all informalities. Plans, specifications, and additional information may be obtained from Mathes Brierre Architects, APC, with options for a hard copy for a deposit or an electronic set for a non-refundable fee. A full refund of one set of documents is available to each General Contractor under certain conditions. Bidding documents are also available for download at the Architect’s FTP site at no fee. Bidders must provide their license number and email address to request documents. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked with the bidder’s name, address, telephone number, State License Number (if bid exceeds $50,000), and the statement “Proposal for (project name and number).” Bids may also be submitted electronically in accordance with Louisiana Revised Statute 38:2212 E (1) via www.centralbidding.com. Minority and female-owned businesses, as well as local businesses, are encouraged to participate.
