The City of Holland is seeking sealed bids to furnish and deliver one new storm water pump for use at the Pine Avenue Pump Station. Bids must be submitted on the provided "BID FORM" in a sealed envelope clearly marked "NEW STORM WATER PUMP." All bids are to be net, F.O.B. at 333 Wyngarden Way, Holland, Michigan 49423. Bids must remain irrevocable for thirty days from the opening date and cannot be withdrawn, modified, or altered after opening. In the event of vendor default, the City may procure from another vendor and hold the original vendor liable for any increased costs. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities, and split the bid if deemed desirable. Contracts and purchase orders will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering price and other factors specified in Sections 2-48 and 2-48.1 of the City of Holland Ordinance Code regarding award of contracts and preference for local bidders.
