The project consists of the construction/rehabilitation of approximately 46 sewer manholes. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to Concord Water & Sewer Public Facility Board in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. Bidders must enter the addenda numbers in the Proposal to verify receipt. The attention of the Bidder is directed to applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under this Contract. Concord Water & Sewer P.F.B. encourages all qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises to bid, and encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to such enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed 90 days from the bid opening date. Removal and construction of sewer manhole structures. 2. Remove and replacing sewer manhole ring and covers. 3. Lining existing manhole interior walls with a cementitious coating. 4. Grouting the lower 18-inches of an existing manhole interior. 5. Pavement surface repair.
