Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Separate sealed bids are requested for 2017 SSA Remedial Measures Sub-Basin FL02 Phase 1, Project No. 19-19-C1. The project includes approximately 6,000-linear feet of sanitary sewer line and manholes to be rehabilitated by conventional open cut installation and pipe bursting. Bids must be addressed to the City of Fort Smith Engineering Department–Utility and labeled accordingly. Bidders must include their Arkansas License number on the outside of their sealed bid, and only bids from registered Bidders will be received. Bids will not be accepted from prospective Bidders who have not purchased contract documents through QuestCDN. All Bidder questions must be submitted through the QuestCDN project portal page. Each bidder must deposit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. All bidders must be licensed under Act 150 of the 1965 Acts of the Arkansas Legislature, including subsequent amendments, and classified as a General Contractor for the classification required. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the bid opening. The city encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, either as a general contractor or subcontractor.
