Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Work includes demolishing and replacing two condensing hot water boilers and two base mounted pumps in a skid pump system with new equipment. This includes boiler, flues, boiler room hot water piping, pumps, variable speed drives, and controls. Also included is all electrical and roof work required to complete the installations. New equipment must be integrated into the existing Alerton Open Protocol BacNet MS/TP BMS system. Contractor is to flush, fill, and vent hot water piping and provide cleaner, water treatment, and boiler startup. All work is to be included in a Single Prime contract. Bidder instructions: The bidder is to furnish all materials and labor for the project specified. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name and address on the front, marked as "CONFIDENTIAL BID ENCLOSED: Guilford Elementary School." Bid packages must be delivered to the receptionist at the front desk by the deadline. Bidders are responsible for checking the provided project folder for updates and addenda. Bidders must be properly licensed in accordance with North Carolina statutes. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the bid receipt deadline. The awarded vendor must comply with E-Verify requirements.
