Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Dos Palos, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Sealed bids are sought for the construction of the FSRP Critical Erosion Repair Project. The work includes placement of riprap for levee bank stabilization at three separate sites, pre-construction and post-construction surveys, installation and maintenance of turbidity control measures, water quality monitoring and testing, and hydroseeding of disturbed areas. Bidders must include costs for all work, labor, and materials to complete the project. The project is a public work subject to prevailing wage requirements and other legal obligations, including apprentice usage, workers' compensation coverage, record keeping, and compliance monitoring. Bidders must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and be duly licensed with a Class A license throughout the contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder's bond for ten percent of the bid amount as a guaranty to enter into contract if awarded. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds from a financially responsible surety company authorized to do business in California. The contractor may substitute securities for any moneys withheld in accordance with Section 22300 of the Public Contracts Code. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder, though the District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and postpone bid opening.
