Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Dos Palos, California. Completed plans call civil work for a water pump station.
This work includes furnishing an existing agricultural well, installing a pump and related appurtenances such as a foundation, sanitary well seal, air release valves, and sounding ports. A new vertical turbine pump and 60 hp motor with soft start and electric oiler will be furnished and installed. The contractor is to provide all electrical work for a complete and operable installation of the A/C powered well. The District will coordinate the PG&E service connection, while the contractor is responsible for the meter panel, guy wire, pole installation, and County inspections. The voltage is 480/277, 4 wire, 3 phase. The contractor must also ensure two 1-inch access ports are in working order and provide their exact location to the District. Documentation of the water level, yield, and a full pump curve must be provided.
