As confirmation of receipt, please update the highlight yellow portions of word document 'Amendment 0001 Questions and Answers' and return a copy to myself and the Contracting Officer, SMSgt de Veas with your RFQ offer or prior to RFQ offer due date. Comprehensive assessment, repair, and inspection of fire alarm and life safety systems for multiple facilities, including buildings 3376, 3382 (Main and Annex), 3380, 3379, 3392, and 3417. Work includes diagnosing and correcting fire alarm control panel (FACP) "trouble" and "disable" conditions; replacing, programming, and testing FACPs; resolving communication issues with transmitters and antennas; and replacing and testing system components such as batteries, heat detectors, wiring, and sensors. The project also involves repairing fire suppression system deficiencies, including riser drain failures, and programming and testing specialized systems such as a walk-in refrigerator alarm. Upon completion of repairs, the contractor shall perform full annual inspections in accordance with NFPA 72 standards, provide detailed inspection and testing reports, and submit required documentation including pre-work submittals, safety plans, personnel qualifications, and post-work deliverables such as O&M manuals, warranties, and as-built drawings. All work must comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes, including UFC 3-601-02.
