Work consists of providing on-site maintenance, inspection, testing, major service, and load bank testing for six emergency power generators, along with fuel quality testing and maintenance for seven underground fuel storage tanks and six day tanks. Services include all management, supervision, personnel, labor, parts, supplies, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and incidental engineering necessary to maintain generators and associated fuel systems in a safe and fully operational condition in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. The contractor shall perform annual major preventive maintenance, including replacement of filters, inspection of battery systems, engine components, fuel systems, coolant systems, controls, and generator assemblies, as well as verification of proper operation before and after service. Annual load bank testing shall be conducted for a minimum of four continuous hours under specified load conditions, with detailed operational data recorded and reported. Fuel systems maintenance includes conditioning, polishing, and laboratory analysis of stored fuel to remove contaminants and ensure compliance with required quality standards, with corrective actions taken as necessary. Additional services include testing and maintenance of day tank components such as float switches, pumps, and control systems, as well as major cooling system servicing and full battery replacements at specified intervals. The contractor shall implement and maintain a quality control program, ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, and provide detailed service reports for all work performed. All services must be performed with minimal disruption to medical center operations and in accordance with established schedules and contract requirements.
