Construction of a new Munitions Maintenance and Inspection facility and an addition to an existing Conventional Munitions Cube Storage facility using conventional design and construction methods to support munitions handling and F-22 mission requirements. Work includes micro-pile foundations to address soil and seismic conditions; cast-in-place concrete slabs, walls, and structural masonry; cold-formed metal framing, insulated metal wall panels, and structural steel systems; and installation of standing seam metal roofing with gutters, downspouts, and weather barriers. The project incorporates specialized mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, lightning grounding, communication infrastructure, and complete fire alarm and sprinkler systems. A bid option includes construction of a concrete Material Assembly Center pad and associated asphalt paving for facility access. The storage addition includes high-hazard concrete wall construction, structural steel framing, roofing tied to existing standards, new adjacent asphalt pavement, and integrated fire detection and reporting systems connected to base systems. Work also requires temporary security fencing, controlled access and escort coordination, integration with existing utilities without interrupting operations, environmental coordination for hazardous materials, and restoration of any damaged facilities, with execution in an island environment requiring logistical and technical capability.
