Site work, paving and new construction of a clubhouse / community center in Amory, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a clubhouse / community center.
The work consists of the construction of Community Storm Shelters and a Parking Lot. Instructions to bidders: - Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the CITY OF AMORY, marked as "BID FOR AMORY CDBG STORM SHELTERS, CDBG NO. 1138-24-104-PF-03." Any bid exceeding $50,000.00 must display the contractor's current certificate of responsibility number on the envelope; otherwise, a statement that the bid does not exceed $50,000.00 must appear on the envelope. - Bids will only be accepted from bidders who have received contract documents from Plan House Printing on behalf of the Engineer and whose names appear on the official list of plan holders. - Bidders are encouraged to register at www.cceplanroom.com to view and/or order contract documents, which are only available from Plan House Printing and Graphics. - Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. - The successful bidder must provide a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, each for 100% of the contract amount. - The project is subject to Community Development Block Grant rules and regulations, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Davis-Bacon Act wage rates, and the Build America, Buy America Act. - Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited and encouraged to seek subcontracting opportunities. The CITY OF AMORY is an Equal Opportunity Employer. - The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the best interest of the Owner. - Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and investigation of qualifications before awarding the contract.
