Site work for a municipal facility in South Dennis, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The work includes the removal and replacement of the weigh scale at the Dennis Transfer Station. The scale replacement shall include removal, proper disposal, and replacement of the existing scale, load cells, transponder, and all associated appurtenances with a new galvanized pre-cast concrete scale complete with new load cells, manways, remote display, indicator, and associated appurtenances and associated structural work needed to provide a fully functional transfer station weigh scale as specified. The work is to be performed on Mondays and Tuesdays only, with no disruption to Transfer Station operations. Any deviations to this sequence must be formally submitted for review and approval. Bids must be submitted electronically online. All documents must be submitted in PDF format. Bidders must complete and digitally sign or print and scan the bid form signature pages and upload as PDF. Construction must be substantially completed within nine (9) months from the Notice to Proceed. Payment will be by lump sum. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the value of the bid. Minimum wage rates apply, and the successful bidder must furnish a 100 percent Construction Performance Bond and a 100 percent Construction Payment Bond. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or reject any or all bids, and to omit part or whole of the work to maintain cost within available funds.
