The work involves providing the necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete construction of the new Legacy Farms Park Phase One, as detailed in the provided plans and specifications. Bidders must submit sealed bids in duplicate, clearly marked, and accompanied by a Bid Deposit (Guaranty) in the amount of five percent of the total bid, payable to the City of Saint Charles, Missouri. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment bond for one hundred percent of the contract amount. Not less than the prevailing hourly rates of wages set forth by the State of Missouri Department of Labor shall be paid to all workers. The contract will be awarded to the lowest and best bid, with factors such as experience, reputation, relevant experience of the firm and key staff, work volume, record of performance, and any other relevant ability to complete the work considered. Prospective contractors and subcontractors are highly encouraged to attend the pre-bid meeting at the project site. The City of Saint Charles reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informality or irregularity in any bid received.
