Renovation of a civil project in Appleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.
The work consists of demolishing drywall and the associated drywall framing on the east and west M-K tunnel bridge walls, cleaning and painting of the existing interior bridge structural steel framing and insulated metal wall panels, painting the existing drywall ceiling, and painting the existing north wall of the M-K tunnel bridge. Other items as described in the Bidding Documents for the Wastewater Treatment Plant L Building HVAC and Miscellaneous Upgrades Project are included as well. Only electronic bids will be accepted through the specified online service. Interested parties must register and purchase the digital contract documents to be plan holders. Forms for the "Bidders Proof of Responsibility" must be filed with the City Clerk at least five days before bid opening. A performance bond/labor and material payment bond equal to 100% of the contract is required. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent of the bid as a guarantee. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the City and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
