Sealed proposals are invited for the Air Release Valve Replacement Program 2024/2025. The Project consists ofreplacing 45 1-inch, 2-inch and 3-inch existing combination air release valves (ARVs), all within the northwestern portion of SJWD's service area in the county ofPlacer. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition, installation of ARVs, all appurtenances, enclosures, excavation, backfill, and compaction, asphalt paving, concrete paving, and landscape restoration. The DISTRICT will furnish the air release valve and the enclosure's steel cover & vent tube. Work shall be completed within 120 calendar days, from the date when the contract commences to start. The Contract Documents contain a full description ofthe Work and requirements The District will provide the air release valve and the enclosure's steel cover and vent tube. Completion is required within 120 calendar days from the contract commencement date. Bidders must comply with the Instructions to Bidders. The contract documents, including instructions, bid forms, and plans and specifications, are available for examination at the District office or electronically. Each bidder is required to attend a mandatory pre-bid conference. Bids from those not attending the conference will be rejected as non-responsive.
