Invitation to bid on site accessibility and walkway improvements at 1 and 2 Shalom Drive, Warwick, RI 02886, for Shalom Apartments. The work involves the upgrade, reconfiguration, and replacement of existing pedestrian pathways to achieve consistent compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards for slope, surface, and continuity. Contractors must have at least 5 years of experience in concrete and site accessibility work. Bids must be sealed and properly labeled, and sent or delivered to Shalom Apartments. Emailed, faxed, unsealed, or late bids will not be accepted. This is a federally funded project and requires compliance with HUD contract provisions, Build America Buy America (BABA), Davis-Bacon Act, Non-Discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action, Section 3 requirements, Anti-Kickback Act, Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act, and Department of Labor Standards and Regulations. The successful bidder must have a DUNS# or valid Unique Identifier Number (UEI) and Sam.gov registration. Shalom Apartments encourages businesses owned by women and minorities to bid. Contractor payment is in accordance with contract documents and funding requirements of the City of Warwick’s Office of Housing and Community Development and its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.
