Remove existing roof and replace. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to this scope of work and the attached specifications for Asphalt Shingle Roofing Systems. Work is to be completed within 45 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification and the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the roof, before removal of equipment and scaffolding, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent or designee. CR#: 2136014 SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove existing shingles down to original decking. 2. Replace decking and fascia (aluminum wrapped, color matched) where necessary with appropriate size and grade. 3. Install 6' of ice and water shield on eaves and 3' on rakes and valleys. 4. Install new synthetic underlayment, drip edge, flashing, counter flashing, pipe boots, exhaust vents, starter shingles, and 30-year architectural shingles, ridge vent and chimney flashing. 5. All shingles to be installed with high wind nailing pattern. 6. Shingles shall be supplied in the color "Charcoal" Approx, 23-Square Award is subject to final approval.
