The work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of an 8’ wide asphalt pathway, floating walkway with deck, interpretive signs, benches, trash receptacles, trees, and site restoration at Tate Park. Bidders are to provide complete installation, maintain a clean and safe worksite, and remove all shipping containers and packaging. All materials and installation must comply with the bid documents, including the project manual and all drawings. The contractor is responsible for site staking, verifying grades, securing and paying for required permits, coordinating material testing, and protecting natural resources, park facilities, and the public during construction. Bidders must comply with all applicable state civil rights acts and other requirements outlined. All work must be completed by October 30, 2026, unless otherwise approved in writing. Pricing must include all materials, installation, overhead, permits, fees, and other general conditions necessary to complete the project as designed. Payment will be made based on the percentage of completion of the item sum. Complete and responsive bids must be submitted prior to the specified deadline. Bids shall be sealed, legibly prepared, and include all required pages and information. The successful bidder shall provide required bonds and insurance, including performance and payment bonds equal to 100 percent of the total contract amount. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the maximum bid price is required. A certification that the company is not an Iran-linked business must be provided. All labor and materials are to be guaranteed for at least one year from the date of Substantial Completion. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make an award in the best interest of the Village.
