Sealed bids for a Lump Sum Contract are invited for this work. Only bidders who participate in the mandatory in-person pre-bid conference and pre-bid job walk will be allowed to bid on the project as a prime bidder. Bidders must submit bid security in the amount of 10% of the Lump Sum Base Bid. The successful bidder and its subcontractors must follow nondiscrimination requirements and pay prevailing wage rates. The successful bidder must possess either a current and active California General Engineering Contractor A or General Building Contractor B license at the time of bid submission. No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5.
