The project consists of the removal and replacement of the ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems at three of the Cobb County Water System's water reclamation facilities (WRF) - the Noonday Creek WRF (20 MGD), the Northwest Cobb WRF (12 MGD), and the R.L. Sutton WRF (50 MGD). In addition, the project consists of the following major elements: replacement of gates and valves and their associated actuators; electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC upgrades; and the addition of a pre-engineered metal building to enclose the UV units at the R.L. Location 2: Northwest Cobb WRF, 3740 Old 41 Hwy, Kennesaw, GA 30144 The Project includes the removal and replacement of three (3) ultraviolet (UV) disinfection channel units and associated electrical and control equipment, removal and replacement of three (3) motorized slide gates, and removal and replacement of HVAC equipment Location 3: RL Sutton WRF, 5175 South Atlanta Road, Atlanta, GA 30339. The Project includes the removal and replacement of fourteen (14) inline ultraviolet (UV) disinfection units and associated electrical and control equipment, removal and replacement of twenty-eight (28) motorized butterfly valves, removal and replacement of HVAC equipment, and new pre-engineered metal building around the existing UV room canopy.
