The work generally includes work on Bobby's Run Boulevard including mill and overlay, concrete curb and sidewalk reconstruction, stormwater inlet work, striping installation, signage upgrades, and other miscellaneous improvements. The work is spread across two base bids and no alternate bids. Bids must be made on the standard bid form contained within the drawings, specifications, and contract documents, in the manner designated therein and required by the specifications. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the Project title on the outside, and addressed appropriately. Each bid must be accompanied by all documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist, as applicable, and a bid guarantee in an amount not less than ten percent of the total bid price, not to exceed $20,000. The bid guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check, drawn to the order of Township of Lumberton and delivered simultaneously with the sealed bid. Bidders are required to comply with all laws referenced within the drawings, specifications, and contract documents. The Township reserves the right to reject all bids or waive minor informalities and/or non-material exceptions in any bid. Bids that contain material nonconformities or are materially nonresponsive will be rejected. The project is being partially funded by NJDOT Municipal Aid grants and will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder if not all bids are rejected. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
