Site work and paving for a road / highway in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City of Council Bluffs Public Works Engineering Division is requesting bids for all work set forth in the plans, specifications, and proposals for the Hillcrest Avenue Reconstruction Phase II project. Major items of work for this project include approximately: 1,464 square yards of street pavement removal, 1,889 square yards of 6-inch granular subbase, 1,556 square yards of 7-inch non-reinforced PCC pavement with 6-inch integral curb, 568 linear feet of 12-inch RCP storm sewer, Class III, and 4 each circular storm sewer manhole, Type SW-401. Work shall commence after written Notice to Proceed is issued or after receipt of a signed contract and shall be completed on or before October 30, 2026, with a late start date of September 1, 2026. The City will accept electronic bid submissions only. Hard copy bid submissions will not be considered. Any bid submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected. Each respondent is responsible for ensuring their submission is received and complete by the deadline. Incomplete submissions will be automatically rejected. The City is not responsible for technical difficulties and will not allow late submissions due to such issues.
