Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Douglas, Wyoming. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The WTP Transmission Main Replacement Project generally consists of replacing the 20-inch transmission main from the Water Treatment Plant to Grant Street and the 16-inch water main in Grant Street from W. Clay Street to the Riverside Park including all new fittings, valves, and fire hydrants, and a new butterfly valve inside the water treatment plant. The project also includes the installation of an 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC raw water irrigation main with a steel casing bore under Yellowstone Hwy, the replacement of an existing 6-inch ductile iron force main with 6-inch HDPE, and the installation of a new storm water sewer in the parking lot north of the Douglas Public Works building. The project will also include a full depth reconstruction of Grant Street from W. Clay Street to Yellowstone Highway including new curb and gutter, sidewalks, and ADA ramps. The project will include the installation of a new raw water automatic irrigation for the lawns at the water treatment plant. The project includes approximately 570LF of 16-inch DR18 C900 PVC Pipe and 250LF of 20-inch ductile iron pipe along with less than 20 LF of 12" welded steel pipe, 925LF of 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC irrigation pipe, 55LF of 8-inch DR18 C900 PVC water main pipe, 445LF of 6-inch DR17 HDPE (DIPS) sanitary force main, 141LF of 15-inch SDR35 PVC storm sewer pipe, 35LF of 8-inch SDR35 PVC storm sewer pipe, 120LF of 4-inch SDR35 PVC storm sewer pipe, and 115LF of 4" DR18 C900 PVC pipe. Bidders should take Exit 140 from I-25 into Douglas. Continue on the off ramp to the first set of traffic light at the intersection of Hwy 59 and W. Yellowstone Hwy. Continue through the lights and travel on W. Yellowstone Hwy for 0.75 miles to W. Grant Street then turn left. The water treatment plant is located north of the City of Douglas Public Works - the project begins in the Water Treatment Plant and terminates at W. Yellowstone Hwy. Sealed Bids for the City of Douglas – WTP Transmission Main Replacement Project will be received at Douglas City Hall, 101 North 4th Street, until 2:00 P.M. MST on July 8th, 2026, and then will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids received after the specified date and time will not be accepted or considered.
