Description

Site work for a municipal facility in Carpentersville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The proposed improvements will consist of various demolition/removal of existing on-site materials (per plan), UST system fueling upgrade improvements, minor mass grading adjustments, underground utility and fuel piping improvements, PCC and HMA pavement construction, curb and gutter, and permanent site restoration, and all other ancillary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans, specifications, and all other applicable standards. A bid bond executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total proposal shall be submitted with each proposal as provided in Article 102.09 of the “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction,” prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation. The contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The awarding authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in Article 102.08 of the “Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction,” prepared by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
