Renovation of an educational facility in Tracy, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to paint all exterior building surfaces of the Multipurpose Room, Administration Building + K, and/or additional classrooms, portables, trash enclosures, and stucco walkways adjoining buildings per campus as shown on plans and specifications. The work includes, but is not limited to, stucco repair or major trim repair, removal of loose and flaking paint, removal of all loose caulking and sealants, and application of new caulking and sealants. All debris must be removed from the site and disposed of by proper methods. Work must be performed around school schedules to avoid disruption or negative impact on District and site operations. Paint will be provided by the Owner. Bidders are required to possess a Class B and/or C-33 State of California contractor's license, which must remain active and in good standing throughout the contract term. Contractors must be registered as a public works contractor with the Department of Industrial Relations. A bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price must accompany the bid. The successful Bidder is required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. The successful bidder must also certify either meeting the Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) goal of three percent (3%) participation or having made a good faith effort to solicit DVBE participation. All workers must be paid not less than the general prevailing rate of per diem wages set by the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations, State of California. The contractor and all subcontractors must comply with federal, state, and local requirements relating to public health emergencies, including COVID-19, and follow CAL/OSHA requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder based on the base bid amount. Pre-qualification requirements: Only prequalified bidders will be eligible to submit a bid for this project. Any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be non-responsive and returned unopened to the bidder.
