The work is located north of Interstate 205, northeast of the City of Tracy, and generally consists of placing rubberized cape seal, repairing, and resurfacing approximately 4.4 miles of roadway with asphalt concrete. The project includes Canal Boulevard and Delta Avenue from MacArthur Drive to Paradise Avenue, and Laurel Avenue from Arbor Avenue to the North End. Specific work items include force account work, traffic control system, preparation of a water pollution control program, clearing and grubbing, shoulder backing, earthwork in miscellaneous areas, slurry seal (Type II), penetration treatment, rubberized chip seal, driveway replacement (Type D), hot mix asphalt (Type A), cold plane pavement, pavement repair, and placement of a monument frame and cover. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Bid Express website using the provided bid forms. Bidders are required to register and create a Digital ID for electronic bid submission, and only one bid per bidder will be accepted. Bid security in the amount of 10% of the bid is required, and must be submitted in the prescribed forms.
