The City seeks a qualified firm to provide layout and design services for the expansion of Duck Samford Park. The requested services include the delivery of plans and specifications for the development of 21-acres of City-owned property, with the expansion intended to include new baseball fields, practice facilities, restrooms and concessions buildings, parking lots, and ingress/egress from adjacent roadways. The construction budget is $4,000,000. Required qualifications include the ability to perform conceptual layout, full design, and ancillary services such as surveying, geotechnical investigation, hydraulic/stormwater analysis, environmental evaluation, and construction cost analysis. Submissions must include the firm's overview, qualifications, licensure, resumes of key personnel and sub-consultants, relevant project experience, references from similar work, summary of workload and schedule, and any additional information helpful for evaluation. The successful firm must meet specific insurance and indemnification requirements, including evidence of liability and professional insurance, and will be considered an independent contractor.
