Renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Issuing and Conducting Procurement Unit: Granite School District (GSD) The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to: Seek bids from responsive and responsible licensed General Electrical Contractor (E200) to install a new Fire Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detection System at Churchill Jr High School according to the attached Project Manual, specifications, and drawings. It is anticipated that this IFB will result in a single award to the lowest cost responsive and responsible vendor. Pre-Bid Meeting: Attendance is required - See Project Manual document for details. Granite School District (GSD) is requesting the services of a General Electrical Contractor (E200) to install a new Fire Alarm and Carbon Monoxide Detection System at Churchill Junior High School, 3450 East Oakview Drive, Millcreek, Utah. Work shall include, but is not limited to: o Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to remove and dispose of existing fire alarm panel, devices, monitor switches, fire alarm annunciator panel, duct detectors, sampling tubes, etc. as indicated on Bid Documents o Furnish all labor and equipment to remove and dispose of conduit, junction boxes, etc. as indicated on Bid Documents. Items that are readily removed shall not be abandoned. o Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to install cover plates, painted to match adjacent surface, over open device boxes. o Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to install new fire alarm panel, fire and smoke detection devices, notification devices, carbon monoxide detection devices and notification strobes, and other appurtenances as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications required for a complete system installation. o Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to install all conduit, accessories, and other appurtenances for a complete installation. o Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining approval from the State Fire Marshal's Office (SFMO) Fire Alarm Plan Review. (SFMO Fire Alarm Submittal Form 2023D-R.) Contractor shall list GSD to be invoiced directly for the review. o Contractor shall be responsible for all testing and commissioning of the system Questions must be submitted by Friday, June 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM Mountain Time. All questions must be submitted via the Utah Public Procurement Place/Bonfire (U3P). Work includes electrical and fire alarm/carbon monoxide systems.
