CONTRACT GR-1-27 is an on-call guardrail contract for the West Virginia Parkways Authority. The contract term is one year, with the possibility of two one-year extensions upon mutual agreement between the Authority and Contractor. All work must be completed within 365 days after the Contract Execution Date. Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express. Proposals must be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check or bid bond in favor of the West Virginia Parkways Authority for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal or $2,000, whichever is greater. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted, and to waive any or all formalities in bidding, as it may deem in its best interest. Minority Owned and Women Owned businesses are strongly encouraged to submit proposals. All firms must certify that they practice Equal Employment Opportunities. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders must be prequalified in accordance with SECTION 102.1 of the WVDOH Standard Specifications. All bids submitted by bidders who have been debarred or declared ineligible by the Director of the Purchasing Division shall be rejected.
