Removal and proper disposal of asbestos-containing materials from four separate locations on the Umpqua National Forest in accordance with Oregon Department of Environmental Quality licensing requirements and Oregon Administrative Rules 340, Division 248. Work includes asbestos abatement at two buildings within the Tiller Ranger Station compound, one site at Layng Creek located approximately 21 miles east of Cottage Grove, and one site at the Diamond Lake Recreation Area. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, containment, removal, handling, transportation, and disposal necessary to complete asbestos abatement activities in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. All work shall be performed under a single firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of 90 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed, including all required bonding, safety controls, and regulatory compliance.
